Here Are Three Tips to Help You Avoid Impulse Buys:

Before you head out or log on to shop, jot down what you really need. Sticking to your list can help you steer clear of those unnecessary purchases that often happen when you see a sale.
2. Try the 24-Hour Rule:
If you’re shopping online, leave items in your cart for a day. This little pause can help you see if that “must-have” really is essential or just a fleeting desire sparked by the sale.
3. Don’t Fall for Sales:

This simple change encourages you to utilise what’s on hand and can help prevent the purchase of duplicate items. It also allows you to keep track of food that has been in the pantry for a while and needs to be consumed before it expires.

If you find it difficult to see what’s in your pantry and food often gets lost and goes to waste, this may be a sign that you’re storing too much. Keeping a surplus of food at home is only beneficial if it gets eaten. If it’s going to waste, consider leaving it at the grocery store—that’s what it’s there for!
🫶🏽 Organise for Visibility
Avoid storing food in hard-to-reach places, such as high cabinets, deep shelves, or corner cupboards. Instead, keep food in the most visible areas of your kitchen, ideally within arm`s reach and eye level. Remember, out of sight often means out of mind, which can lead to waste.
