I love to organise, period!
That is why I share my pantry organising ideas so you can benefit or get inspired.
However, I tend to focus my expertise on the pantry. It is often one of the most used areas of the house, and in saying that, it can become one of the most disorganised spaces. I have utilised various cost-effective containers and materials to create an eye-pleasing space for an array of dry goods, foods, and liquids in this image.
In this example, I spoke with the client about their ideas and budget before laying out the plan of attack.
I compiled measurements, listed the goods to be stored (decanted), and considered the room’s flow (in this case, the kitchen). I then sat down and did a quick sketch taking the customer’s ideas. Following this, I quickly showed it to the customer. After some adjustments, I researched the best containers and materials for the project.
Here are some of the items I used: white bins (for dinner items, baking supplies and food storage), white baskets for kids’ snacks, re-used bins for tea/hot chocolate, a new tall jar for cereal and new medium jars for flour, rice and sugar.
The result is a highly usable pantry space, which is neat, organised and flows with the kitchen aesthetic the client has already established.
